Harambe on Wall Street
As the opening bell rang on Wall Street Oct. 18, a 7-foot bronze statue of Harambe – the gorilla fatally shot at the Cincinnati Zoo in 2016 – stared down the Charging Bull sculpture, which was surrounded by thousands of bananas that were later donated to food shelves. The founders of Sapien.Network coordinated the event to represent how Wall Street has gone “bananas.”
